Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) is one of the most respected names in the UK for A level and GCSE courses with a focus on ambitious students aiming for top university placements. A leading provider in the domestic market for over 40 years the MPW brand is synonymous with quality, tailored education drawing on the Oxbridge tutorial model; and extends to a range of publications used throughout the sector.
With colleges in London, Cambridge and Birmingham MPW is well placed to grow its vibrant overseas community and is now looking to expand into a number of international markets. MPW has recently introduced a number of successful foundation programmes designed specifically for international students.
We are seeking two motivated international recruiters to join the team. The successful candidates will support the strategy to raise MPW’s international profile and to increase the number of international students.
These positions will provide support to our Regional Directors and have delegated responsibility for their own markets. Experience of working in one or more of the following regions would be an advantage; Europe, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Middle East, North Africa or South America.
These challenging roles will appeal to applicants who are ambitious, driven and pro-active with excellent literacy, presentation and communication skills. The post-holders will be required to undertake regular international travel and must bring with them the proven ability to manage their own schedules and build relationships. Experience of international student recruitment/admissions is desirable though training and support will be provided on the specific nature of our sector and preferred way of working.
Performance will be well rewarded, with a competitive package designed to attract candidates in similar roles. This position is also ideal for someone with a strong admissions or education marketing background keen to move into international recruitment and would be suitable for those moving from EFL or HE backgrounds.
