Activities & Sports
At MPW, we organise social and physical activities all year round providing our students with a fun and relaxed environment to help them stay healthy, interact with peers who share common interests, enhance leadership skills and prepare for the future.
We believe studies are just part of the student experience; we encourage our students to take part in social events ranging from raising awareness through a charity campaign, joining a debating session or simply stretching their legs and arms at the local climbing centre.
Students who love sport will have plenty of opportunity to meet up with likeminded friends – or make new ones through a large variety of sports clubs here at MPW.
£2500 raised over the past six years for Children in Need. That’s a lot of carrots
Not much fun being a rabbit, just in case you hadn’t noticed. Spend most of our time either being shot at and then stuck in a stew or what not. Or being told how truly ‘cute’ and ‘cuddly’ we are. Even got this in French a couple of Fridays ago. Wouldn’t look so ‘adorable’ if I stuck my carrot in your eye, would I ‘cheri’??

MPW 4 – Kaplan 1
On a cold Friday afternoon our boys put behind the disappointment of the previous game against MPW Birmingham with a much improved win over older opposition.
Our captain Guy Lacey, playing in a unfamiliar strikers role, scored all four goals and went close on many occasions. MPW were much better organised, but still suffered from relaxing on their laurels for large periods of the game.
Full Time: MPW Cambridge V MPW Birmingham
From previous encounters with Birmingham and a 100% record, we arrived at the ground, with expectations at an all time high.
From the kick off, we had a solid start for the first quarter. and this ended with the ball rolling into the path of Julian Lees who slotted it into the top corner from outside the box.
