Easter Revision: A Level
At A2, MPW London runs three one-week, exam board-specific courses across a wide variety of subjects and specifications.
For Year 12 students, separate, board-specific courses run for legacy and reformed syllabuses. The latter are designed to be suitable both for those taking AS at the end of Year 12 or those sitting internal end of year examinations.
The majority of A level Easter Revision courses at MPW are board- and syllabus-specific. This means that they focus on the question style, examining criteria and past papers which are relevant to a particular exam board and syllabus.
The advantage of board- and syllabus-specific courses is that students do not waste time or risk becoming confused by covering material which is not relevant to them but may be important for other students following a different syllabus. It is vital, therefore, that students ensure that the syllabuses for which they have registered at Easter are indeed those for which they are being taught at school.
