Once the AS exams have finished, students are usually ready to relax after a year of hard work; however there is still a little more for them to do before they can fully enjoy the summer break. In the final few weeks of term we ensure that the students are fully prepared for the challenges related to applying for university through UCAS.
To celebrate the outstanding art, photography and media work created by MPW students this year, an art and media exhibition was held. Parents, students and tutors were invited to view the work and discuss their interpretations of the work on show. “This year’s art and design students have shown great commitment to their work which is reflected in the high quality pieces that are on show this evening.

After the launch of Running Club last year, jogging around the grand setting of Birmingham University once a week has become a common occurrence for many of the MPW Students. This year AS student and aspiring Lawyer, Alex Moran has been the figurehead for Running Club which he has developed into Half Marathon Club! He tells us about his experience of running and how he balances his passion with studying at MPW.
“Come to the BBC!” was the rallying cry on the morning of Tuesday, June 4th. Was this an opportunity to be famous on television? No, but it was something just as good – an invitation to “Bridget’s Breakfast Club” Breakfast club has started to become something of a regular feature at MPW Birmingham and has been intended to give students a healthy start to the day when they are having exams.
