EPQ Afternoon

Posted by: Martin Blyth - 15 October 2019 - Activities & Sports - Read time: 1 Minute

This afternoon our EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) students are meeting with their project supervisors to discuss their initial ideas and project proposal. The EPQ offers students the opportunity to complete a piece of research in to their chosen area of interest and then complete a 5,000 word essay on the topic. During the 2018-19 academic year, 78% of MPW Birmingham’s EPQ students gained either an A or A* grade. This year we are supporting our biggest ever EPQ cohort as students complete projects on topics ranging from the ethics of horse riding to economic policy to solve the water crisis.
