Activities & Sports
At MPW, we organise social and physical activities all year round providing our students a fun and relaxed environment to help them stay healthy, interact with peers who share common interests, enhance leadership skills and prepare for the future.
We believe studies are just part of the student experience; we encourage our students to take part in the social events ranging from raising awareness through a charity campaign, joining a debating session or simply stretching their legs and arms at the local climbing centre.
Students who love sport will have plenty of opportunity to meet up with likeminded friends – or make new ones through a large variety of sports clubs here at MPW.
World Mental Health Day
In recognition of World Mental Health Day, students and staff spent the day dressed in yellow. Mental health problems can affect anyone, any day of the year, but World Mental Health Day is a great day to show support for better mental health and start looking after your own wellbeing.
This afternoon our EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) students are meeting with their project supervisors to discuss their initial ideas and project proposal. The EPQ offers students the opportunity to complete a piece of research in to their chosen area of interest and then complete a 5,000 word essay on the topic.
Sports Awards Dinner
The Annual Sports Award’s dinner provides the players and management to reflect on the season that was, recall the best goals of the season and enjoy a tasty meal. Perhaps more importantly, votes are taken, and awards are also handed out.
