Our next two awards focus on strides made within the arts. Of course, we’re all aware of the tragedy that the art industry has faced this last year and it’s no doubt the artistic landscape has been dramatically impacted by the pandemic.

But independent schools rightfully recognise the importance of providing a rich, artistic curriculum and although 2020 may have come with its challenges, what stands strong is the determination from schools to keep the arts thriving and to provide the very best opportunities for their pupils.

Absolutely, and our shortlisted schools offer a prime example of that determination and commitment. So, first up is the ISA award for excellence and innovation in fine arts and the finalists are:

Alleyn Court Preparatory School
Claires Court
MPW London

And the winner is… MPW London!

MPW London was praised for their ongoing commitment and dedication to the fine arts providing an optimum opportunity for students to reach their potential at higher education. The college has developed strong links with UAL and is committed to nurturing the progression of each individual to prepare them for that next step. The college has proudly had students displaying artwork in the prestigious Saatchi gallery and has won a number of awards at national ISA art competitions.

Fantastic work there from MPW London in the arts, well done.

The award is a testament to the continuous hard work, commitment and talent of our tutors, staff and students across the fine arts subjects at MPW London. See our range of fine arts courses:
