A trio of CIFE awards for MPW London students
We were delighted in April to join our CIFE (Council for Independent Education) Prize Winners at a ceremony at the House of Lords. The awards were presented by Lord Lexden OBE (President of CIFE and ISA) and our worthy winners were Hanbin Lee (Humanities Prize) and Lottie Chainey (Art Prize) who were chosen from the 21 independent sixth-form colleges that belong to CIFE.
Hanbin Lee joined MPW from South Korea for our two-year A level course in Law, History and Politics. He achieved grades A*A*A and won a place to read Accounting and Finance at the University of Exeter. Lottie joined MPW from King Alfred School to complete her GCSE studies before progressing on to our two-year A level course in Art and Design, Textiles and Photography. She achieved grades A*A*A* and won a place to study for a Foundation Diploma in Fashion Design at Central St Martins, UAL.
The MPW College Prize winner for outstanding achievement was Imaan Hasham-Moncada. Imaan joined MPW from Bromley High School for our one-year GCSE course. She went on to take a two-year A level course in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, achieving grades A*A*A. Imaan won a place to read Medicine at Imperial College London.
Many congratulations to all three prize winners on receiving such prestigious awards in such a distinguished setting.
