On 27^th March 2025, MPW London’s Student Council hosted a chocolate strawberry sale in celebration of International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day.

Cartons of four chocolate-coated strawberries were sold at £3 each, with all proceeds going to support The Pachamama Project; a volunteer-run, non-profit organisation tackling period poverty by making reusable sanitary pads for refugees across the globe.

Within an hour, every cartoon was sold out! Thanks to the generosity of the staff and students (including additional donations), the event raised over £130 – enough to fund the materials for 200 reusable sanitary pads, each handmade with its own drawstring bags.
