University Fair 2025
We hosted our annual University Fair this year in the main hall of Queen’s Gate House. We were delighted to welcome over 40 national and international universities to our school, allowing our students to gain first-hand exposure to them. This year we also welcomed parents to the Fair to join us for the final hour. Overall, the event was a triumph, and we look forward to welcoming and hosting both students and parents alike to meet ambassadors of the universities first-hand next year.
Some of the highlights included welcoming Imperial College London (our neighbours on Queen’s Gate), University of Bristol, Manchester and of course University College London – a consistent favourite amongst our students! The queue was undoubtedly long; however, it was great to see students across the school interacting and engaging with a breadth of universities, all offering their own academic challenge and interests. For those budding artists amongst our student body, UAL and Goldsmiths also joined us. For students with ambitions beyond the UK, we also welcomed IE and ESCP Business School. The University Guys also joined us to offer their services; providing university support for applications in the US, Europe and Canada.
Alongside traditional academic pathways, joining us was for the first time, we were excited to welcome Glion with their diverse set of programmes, ranging from Hospitality and Luxury to Finance. We want to expose students to a variety of pathways, ensuring they feel their needs and interests are met for life beyond school. For a more practical route, Quest Professional joined us to explain to their successful Professional Diploma Programme leading to 97% of their cohort gaining employment after. This provides students with a potential gap-year activity too. While we want all our students to thrive and succeed academically, we know the importance of guiding them towards a range of pathways which may suit them better.
