On Wednesday 11th February, our GCSE and A level Art students enjoyed an inspiring visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.

The museum’s rich and diverse collection, spanning ancient artefacts to contemporary works provided a fantastic opportunity for students to see original artworks up close and gather first-hand inspiration for their exam projects.

Students explored masterpieces by world-renowned artists including Monet, Millais, Titian and Van Gogh, studying techniques, colour, and composition to inform their own creative ideas. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and curiosity as they engaged with such iconic works.

We wish all our students the very best with their final projects and hope this visit has sparked fresh ideas and confidence in their artistic journey.
