MPW’s AS and A level History courses are designed specifically for students studying either the AQA, CAIE, Edexcel (Pearson) or OCR Boards and are typically four hours in length.
As there are many different periods in History to consider, you are encouraged to telephone to discuss your requirements. We will then send you a list of options so that you can identify the correct option. Courses, and course dates, will be allocated subject to demand and students need to be prepared to be flexible if we are to accommodate all requests.
Students most commonly find analysis of sources and structure of arguments the biggest concerns, so extensive use will be made of essay plans and source materials. Particularly close attention will be paid to past paper questions.
Please note that we are unable to help with coursework pieces as to do so would be to interfere with work that must be vouched for as the student’s own by their regular teacher.
