The college is registered as an independent school with the Department for Education (DfE). It is a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA) represented by The Independent Schools Council (ISC) and inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). The Principal is a member of the Council for Independent Further Education (CIFE).
Latest report
The latest ISI inspection report was published in May 2025. MPW London met all of the rigorous standards as set out in the ISI’s inspection framework.
The inspection team was particularly impressed by MPW’s sustained commitment to our ‘tailored, not uniform’ ethos. Supporting and nurturing the individual lies at the heart of all we do, and we are pleased that the inspectors recognised the “individual educational experience” we provide, as well as the way in which we “support individuality, fostering a cohesive, happy and accepting school”.
The report also acknowledges how this ethos is embedded in day-to-day classroom practice, highlighting how our small class sizes enable teachers to provide individual feedback in lessons. The inspectors noted that “pupils value this approach and recognise leaders’ efforts to accommodate their needs and wishes”. More broadly, the report describes a learning environment in which students thrive both personally and academically. It speaks of an atmosphere characterised by “mutual respect, happiness and trust” and describes a “calm and orderly learning environment” where “behaviour expectations are clear and consistently reinforced”.
