On the 21st of October, the MPW football team faced off against local rivals Ashbourne College in a friendly match at Club des Sports, Acton. It was a thrilling encounter that showcased the passion and skill of both teams.

Our boys played with great organisation and minimal errors, showing a real determination to win. They pushed hard in the second half, creating numerous chances and putting pressure on Ashbourne’s defence. A crucial moment came when our goalkeeper made a fantastic penalty save, lifting the team’s spirits and inspiring them to keep fighting.

Unfortunately, a late goal for Ashbourne sealed the 1-0 victory for them. Despite the loss, our boys can be proud of their performance. Their resilience and fighting spirit were evident throughout the match.

The positive energy and friendship displayed by the team were inspiring. We look forward to building on this performance in future matches.
