The Prize Giving ceremony is one of the high points of the academic year at MPW where a number of prizes will be awarded in recognition of our students’ academic achievement. In addition, students with outstanding results will have the opportunity to attend the annual CIFE Awards Ceremony at the House of Lords.

House of Lords Awards Ceremony 2016
The arrival of a gold crested invitation to attend the annual CIFE colleges Awards Ceremony at the House of Lords was not only a huge honour for the students who had been nominated to receive a prestigious award, but also for the members of MPW staff who were able to celebrate their success.
2015 Prize Giving
Each year we celebrate the achievements of our most outstanding students in our prize-giving event. This years prize-giving was presided over by Dr George Harris whose work with young people in the West Midlands as a clinical psychologist has brought enormous benefit and acclaim from those he has worked with.
Sports Award Winners 2015
On Thursday May 28th 2015 MPW Birmingham held its annual Sports Dinner at the Blue Piano restaurant, Edgbaston. The event is always one of the highlights of the year for students who are part of the football squad and was thoroughly enjoyed by all again this year.
Prize Giving 2014
Prize giving is an opportunity for the MPW community to celebrate student achievements from the previous academic year. This year’s prize giving was led by Dr Roger Charlton who is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Nottingham as well as being an active clinician as a GP in Hampton-in-Arden.
House of Lords Awards Ceremony
Each year a student from MPW Birmingham whose academic achievements have been judged outstanding attends an awards ceremony at the House of Lords. The latest student to participate in this most wonderful event is Nathan Tomlinson who is now reading Physics at Imperial College, London.
2013 Prize Giving
Once again, December heralded our annual prize giving event at the college. As always with prize giving, it is a fantastic opportunity to meet students after their first term at university and see the progress they have made.
There is no doubt that the students always find their first term challenging, but always comment on how their A level studies have helped them to prepare for this. It is also a great chance to formally share the achievements of the students with parents and friends as well as colleagues.

Each year during the month of December, MPW Birmingham holds its annual prize giving ceremony at the college. This year, we were once again looking forward to celebrating the outstanding success of our students and formally congratulating them on the hard work and dedication they had put into achieve the results they had.
