Queen’s Gate House is an historic event and conference venue, conveniently located in the heart of Kensington, which supports the needs of the corporate, educational and training sectors. Formerly known as Baden-Powell House, it was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1961 and has operated as an events venue since 1987. The building was purchased by MPW in Summer 2021.
Event spaces range in scale from the expansive Event Hall, which can accommodate up to 300 guests in a variety of configurations, to individual meeting rooms, which can be used as break-out spaces, or for stand-alone conferences, training or interviews. Nordic minimalist in style, our interior spaces offer the perfect ‘blank canvas’ for you to bring your event vision to life and create a memorable experience for your guests.

Our largest entertaining space, the Event Hall is perfect for hosting conferences, exhibitions, training, product launches, screenings, awards ceremonies, and dinners. The 17ft ceiling height and expansive floor space means the hall is incredibly versatile and can accommodate even the most elaborate of configurations.

The Conference Suite
The Conference Suite
Bright and spacious, the Conference Suite is an ideal space for holding drinks receptions, launches or training sessions. If you are holding a large event in our Event Hall, this flexible space works brilliantly as two breakout rooms, thanks to its dividing wall.

Foyer
Foyer
Perfect for smaller meetings, exams and training courses, the Foyer features a blackboard wall making it a great option for team building sessions. Its location makes it ideal as a breakout room when used in conjunction with the Event Hall.
