MPW Online Science Competition 2021

Welcome to our online science competition. Do you love science? Are you working on an innovative science project? If so, this is your chance to showcase your knowledge to win exclusive prizes, including the chance to spend dedicated time with experts in their scientific field.

How to enter

We are looking for aspiring scientists, aged 10 to 18, to present their investigations, observations or experiments exploring a topic in biology, chemistry, physics or geology. For example, you may wish to investigate the growth of plants, showcase an experiment, make a stop motion movie to explain a scientific concept or even film wildlife in their natural habitat. The only limit is your imagination!

You can enter by submitting a video (maximum five minutes in length), presentation or PDF. Entries will be judged on scientific quality, originality and quality of presentation. Competition rules and guidelines

The submission deadline is 5pm (BST) on Tuesday 31 August 2021.
Participants should be no younger than 10 and no older than 18 by 31 August 2021.
Submission will not be considered valid if the form has not been fully completed.
Only one entry is allowed per participant.
Video entries must be no longer than five minutes.
Entry is limited to the first 150 videos, presentations or PDFs submitted before or by 5pm (BST) on Tuesday 31 August 2021.
At the discretion of MPW, later entries may be considered by order of submission date.
The submission form and entries should be completed entirely in English.
By entering the competition, you agree to be featured on our website, social media channels and in any relevant promotional activity or coverage.
