AS Photography Exhibition
On Friday 16th February, the AS Art and Design group produced and curated a photography exhibition in the Student Common Room. The work concluded a term-long project in which students were taught how to use a manual DSLR and explore a theme important to them.
The exhibition was daunting for the group. For many of them, this was the first time they had shown work for their peers to view. All of the work was of extremely high quality which is testemant to the work that Art and Design tutor De'Anne had done with the group. Themes explored through the photographs were identity, architecture and sport.
Given that many of the students prefer to paint then take photographs, we can't wait to see the work on show for the next exhibition!
