Drama students perform extracts from Chekhov’s The Seagull
AS Drama students have been working to hone their acting skills this term and as part of their efforts, they performed extracts from Chekhov’s The Seagull for an audience in the theatre for the first time at the start of November. This gave the group an opportunity to put into practice the techniques they have been learning as well as becoming accustomed to being on stage and in front of an audience.
GCSE Residential - London, Rock and Observation
A varied programme of events in London filled a fun-packed two days for our GCSE students. They visited the National Theatre, the Tower of London, Greenwich Royal Observatory and the School of Rock musical.
Halloween Party
On Tuesday 31st October our overseas students celebrated Halloween by attending a Halloween Party organised by International Officer Ryan Moran in partnership with the student accommodation team next door.
MPW Birmingham 3 - 2 MPW Cambridge
MPW Birmingham’s undefeated start to the season continued with a 3-2 victory in the MPW Challenge Trophy against MPW Cambridge.
Theatre Trip: Jane Eyre
This production of Jane Eyre at the National Theatre in London has been highly successful and will soon be going on tour around the UK. It introduced me to a new kind of theatre and has inspired me to think outside the box when performing and staging plays.
