London A78

We are thrilled to announce that three MPW London students have won coveted Council for Independent Education (CIFE) Awards. The students have been recognised for their outstanding academic success over the last year in the subject fields of science, arts and languages. They join another three students from MPW Birmingham in receiving the awards, a stunning total of six for the MPW Group.

The students beat competition from over twenty colleges and hundreds of students to win their awards. We are hugely proud of their achievements.

They will be officially presented with their awards in a ceremony at the House of Lords in April next year.

Award winner profiles

Katie Chulack

Katie joined MPW London in September 2016 to complete a two-year GCSE program. It was evident from the day that she joined MPW that she was a student of exceptional academic ability and prowess. Her GCSE results of ten A* and two A are testament to this. Katie is now at Kings College Wimbledon taking A levels in Biology, Mathematics, Psychology and English Literature and will undoubtedly achieve equally impressive grades there too.

Niku Hessabi

Niku joined MPW London from Francis Holland School on a one-year retake course for Latin and German, obtaining A grades for both subjects. She applied to Oxford the second year running and, this time, succeeded in securing herself a place to read German and Beginners’ Russian, a degree she started in October 2018.

May Mahuttanatan

May (whose art can be seen above) joined the A level 2-year course at MPW College in Arts and Textiles in 2016. She achieved A* in both Art and Textiles. May received the 2018 MPW art prize and she is now studying Art Foundation at CSM, UAL.
