A Look Back

As the Autumn term is comes to a close, we thought we would take this opportunity to have a look back at some of the highlights that took place.
MPW London's annual poetry competition with students, staff and parents being encouraged to find their inner poet.
Lower Sixth Film day, establishing the Student Ambassadors and Student council as well as days out such as the Geography field trip. These were some of the events students took part in this term.
This term also marked the start of the Principal's Lecture where guest speakers gave thoughtful talks such as Vaccinations by Dr Victoria Allen and David Boddy who shared fascinating insights into the inner workings of Thatcher's team during a momentous period in British political history.
Cognitive scientist Professor Bruce Hood gave a talk to the psychology students about his book 'The Self Illusion'.
Open days and Afternoons
Such a pleasure welcoming prospective students and their parents to the college during our open days and afternoons. Where they had an informative and inspiring visit.
The students organised several bake sales for different Charites such as Battersea dogs and cats, where they raised over £200!
MPW's annual Carol Service which was held in aid of Myeloma UK and Macmillan Cancer Support, charities that help and support those affected by cancer, raising £421
Students received an informative two session talk, on preparing for and applying to university.
The 2018 Prize Giving ceremony was an opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate the fantastic achievements of our students over the past year.
MPW London students scored a hat-trick of prestigious CIFE awards, in recognition of their academic success in science, arts and languages.
GCSE Parents Evening
It's not just our students who make friends and connections at college, it was great to see parents and teachers getting to know each other at our parents evening.
Christmas Jumper day
Not only was it the end of term but staff and students got into the Christmas spirit in support of Save the Children!
